Today, I thought that I would post one of the best places for learning JAVA for programming professional who like the non-linear nature of hypertext. It is the Oracle JAVA tutorial at http://docs.oracle.com/javase/tutorial/index.html. Look over it. It is more than one can digest in a day so do not try reading it all. If you do not have much experience with JAVA, try the "Getting Started" section and the "Hello World!" application by the end of the day.
